After serving among unreached peoples overseas for 25 years, Bruce and Julie are dedicating their insights and experience in cross-cultural communication to reaching the many unreached populations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.

The Twin Cities are home to one of the most diverse populations in North America, due in large part to the state’s historic open-door policies towards refugees and immigrants.  One third of the population is first- or second-generation immigrants from many nations.  The From Scattered to Gathered (FS2G) Initiative is a strategic effort by Converge International to engage these unreached immigrant people groups with the Gospel.

The Adamsons work to identify, train and mobilize cross-cultural workers from local Converge churches for strategic disciple-making efforts among least-reached immigrants.  The FS2G Initiative seeks to see at least 5% of each least-reached immigrant people group here become Christ followers. These individuals will be gathered into reproducing Kingdom communities within the Twin Cities.  Ultimately, the new disciples will have a Gospel impact back in their countries of origin as well.
