Jim Grosser

Deacon of Missions

As Deacon of Missions I am eager to lead the Missions Committee and engage the entire congregation in the global advance of Christ’s kingdom by church member involvement and through our missionary family.

I was blessed to grow up in a home and in churches where I learned to love and trust Jesus and to feel the urgency of the missionary task both locally and globally.  My wife, Ann-Elise, was similarly blessed, and together we have served as missionary church planters in Honduras, New England, and Ireland.

Ann-Elise and I were married during my first year in seminary, and we are so thankful that God has allowed us to serve Him together for 50+ years now.  We have two married children and four grandchildren.  We moved from Massachusetts to Minnesota in 2018 to be near our delightful grandchildren in retirement.

2 Samuel 15:15 (NIV) The king’s officials answered him, “Your servants are ready to do whatever our lord the king chooses.”

Hebrews 11:27 (Kingdom NT) Moses…kept the invisible one constantly before his eyes.

Colossians 1:9-12 (NIV) For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
