GIVING IS AN ACT OF WORSHIP

At MapleRidge Church we worship God in our giving by agreeing together to contribute cheerfully and regularly (see 2 Corinthians 9:6–7) to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations, as we strive to honor the Lord with the “firstfruits” (Proverbs 3:9) of all our labor.

Living with a generous spirit isn’t about money. It’s about life change.

Generosity will change your life. When you put your love for Jesus above material things, you declare your trust and faith in him as you build for his kingdom on earth through healed families, restored faith, and stronger communities.  What you do today makes a difference forever. 

How To Give Online

After an initial, set up process, you can automate your giving with ease. Here are the steps:

1. Create an account using your email address and password.
2. Input credit card, debit card, checkings or savings account (account and routing number) information.
3. Choose amount.
4. When you’d like to give (recommend setting up a recurring gift).
5. Which fund to give to.
6. Complete gift.

Upon completion, you’ll receive a confirmation email receipt. It’s that easy.

Give Online

There are great benefits to online giving for both you and the church. . .

Faithfully Honoring God – When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith! The Bible teaches that we are to honor God with the “First Fruits” of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your First Fruits are faithfully given back to God.

Simplicity – You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip. Plus, you can easily track and adjust your giving at any time.

Security – We utilize an encrypted secure website for your online records. Online giving is more secure than giving with a check or cash because an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.

Focus – Instead of having to worry about writing a check or whether you brought your offering to the worship service, you can be fully focused, knowing that you have already given your offering.

Helping MapleRidge Church – Online giving is more cost effective for the church to process, and it makes record keeping much easier for you and the church.

ACH

Automated Clearing House or ACH is the easiest and most cost efficient way to automate your giving. Processing fees are only 0.8% of the transaction. This is using your checking or savings account to donate. Simply input your account and routing number. Once you receive an email (which could take a day or two) with two small deposits, and complete the verification, you’ll be able to donate.

A Note About Credit and Debit Cards

While we allow the use of credit and debit cards for offerings, we still strongly encourage the use of checking or savings account funds rather than credit or debit card for two primary reasons:

Although many pay off their credit cards each month, many also do not. We do not want to encourage someone to go into debt and pay interest on gifts given to the church.

With an electronic checking or savings account transfer, 99.2% of your gift goes to the church. When using a credit or debit card, as much as 2.9% + 30 cents of your gift can go to the processing company.

Your information is held securely by the Subsplash and Church Community Builder (CCB) system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. You have full control of your giving.
